Each week (or almost) a new publisher has offered us his GPS solution (hardware and / or software), while some are not terrible or do not have much to offer in place, some still try to leave the Lot with ever more powerful software, with more features and more importantly, a price defying any competition. This applies to the editor Portuguese NDrive we offer a full range of GPS solutions for all uses.

We tested the software version NDrive scheduled for PDAs / Pocket PCs running Windows Mobile 6 and here is what happens ...

Unfortunately, the main innovation of the software NDrive (cards with pictures 3D) is not available yet on the Windows Mobile version of the software as we confine ourselves to the test in its GPS "classic".

The maps in 3D pictures can have GPS navigation on real pictures (just like the satellite view provided by Google Map example) with real images of the environment of the trail.

However, the Pocket PC can still have a 3D view of major monuments and buildings of the environment as such by the Eiffel Tower (as you click on an item it is possible to have additional information as memorial website, phone number, ...).

The "3D Buildings" is nice, but still less impressive than that proposed by the software Nav N Go Igo 8 in both graphical and in the number of buildings available ...

After a few test drives, it is noted that the software NDrive is much more fluid than most of its competitors, navigating menus, time to fix the chip and the GPS navigation accuracy is remarkable.

The only minor fault might be seen as the extreme simplification of the GPS menus may confuse users advanced magnet having a variety of settings ...

A very big advantage is the price of the application and maps are among the cheapest in the market. You can get the software and the map of France (France and Monaco) for a total of EUR 40 (map of France not only the buildings in 3D and about 10 euros more expensive at TomTom for example).
