Telepoint a system is letting you know in real time and free the remaining available points on your license.
To recall, the penalty points is composed of twelve points that can be withdrawn in case of violation of traffic (the number of points removed by offense depends on the severity of the latter).
The establishment of Telepoint announced aims to facilitate administrative procedures for citizens by allowing a simple consultation and fast directly from your home or workplace.
After the success of the site to make your tax returns online (nearly 8 million people have declared their TV tax in 2007), the government seems determined to continue to foster relationships with citizens through Web.
In a time where speed cameras are popping up everywhere on our roads and the number of points of some motorists as snow depths in the sun, this service can really be very useful.
NB: a negative point about this service, however, to get your number of points must be pre-visit your prefecture to request a copy of your "Full Record" which is stated your case number to thirteen digits. A bit complicated anyway right?
We would have preferred a system resembling the site of taxes (even if it is not perfect) to get our points balance as having to necessarily go (I should say "queuing") in the prefecture risk sharply curb the use of the service Telepoint.
